Rev. William F. Nolan

Rev. William F. Nolan, 91, of Clarksville, IN, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2020.

He was born on September 1, 1929 to Tony and Thena Longworth Nolan in Washington Co., IN.  Rev. Nolan was a retired minister having pastored at 9  local churches including Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, IN, Westside Baptist Church in Salem, IN, First Baptist Church in Henryville, IN, Westside Baptist in Corsicana, TX where he held a revival, Bible Baptist Church in Sellersburg, IN for 26 years and Smallwood Memorial Baptist in Sellersburg. He directed a building program at almost every church he pastored.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife of 62 years Opal Nolan; brothers, Arville Nolan and Everett Nolan; sister, Faye Wheeler; and great great granddaughter, Faith Byrd.

Rev. Nolan is survived by his wife of 10 years, Kathleen Nolan of Clarksville; daughter, Theda (Robert) Flynn of Scottsburg, IN;  brother, Tony (Jeanette) Nolan of Salem;  sister, Dolly Edwards of Benton, KY;  grandson, Kevin Flynn of West Lafayette, IN;  granddaughter, Christy Flynn of Scottsburg, IN;  great-granddaughters, Hannah Byrd, McKenzie Flynn and Morgan Flynn; great-grandson, Donovan Flynn; great-great-grandchildren, Keylie Byrd and Elizabeth Byrd.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown, IN with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.  Visitation will be from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Grayson Funeral Home and after 10:00 am on Thursday at the church.
