Retta Deaton of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown.
Retta was born on November 19, in Napfor, KY the daughter of Oscar and Gypsie Campbell. She was the Bar Manager at the American Legion Post #335 in Charlestown and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #335. Retta was the best cook, wonderful mother and a Huge University of Kentucky Fan.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Deaton of Charlestown, son; Todd Deaton of Charlestown, sisters; Glenna Napier of Middletown, OH and Cleo Campbell of Glen Burnie, MD, brothers; Fred Campbell of Somerset, Ky and Earl Campbell of Cullman, AL.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and after 9 am on Friday.
