Rebecca "Becky" (Moore) Rivers

Rebecca “Becky” Rivers, 58, of Charlestown passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at University of Louisville Hospital.

She was born on February 10, 1953 in Jeffersonville, IN, the daughter of Dean and Joyce Stone Moore, Jr.

Rebecca was owner and operator of Shear Country Beauty Salon and previously was a              cosmetology instructor at the House of James Beauty College. She was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church and board member of Owen Creek Cemetery Association.

Survivors include her husband Michael Rivers; daughter, Treva Rivers Raney, Hibernia; son, Wyatt Rivers, Hibernia; parents, Dean and Joyce Moore, Hibernia; brother, William L. Moore and family, Hibernia; sister, Deanna McDaniel and husbandGerald, Branson, MO. She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle Lois and Trev Beard.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday March 3, 2011 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Owen Creeek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. on Thursday. Expressions of Sympathy in memory of Becky may take the form of donations to the Trev Beard Memorial Park, c/o Leroy Graebe, 6209 Hibernia Rd., Charlestown, IN.                                            .
