Rebecca "Jayne" Swan

Rebecca "Jayne" Swan, a cherished homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother, passed away surrounded by family on March 19, 2026, in New Albany, Indiana.

Born on January 2, 1957, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Jayne was known and loved for her engaging spirit and her joy in conversation, often found joyfully talking with those around her. Her passions included playing bingo, her fondness for all things jewelry, and the delight she took in spending quality time with family. She especially treasured holidays, embracing the spirit of celebration and togetherness they brought.

She was the beloved daughter of the late JoAnn Curtis and shared a partnership for 32 years with Hubert Fields, who preceded her in death. Jayne’s family now remembers her with love and honor, including her devoted daughter Amanda (Michael) Kelley, her grandson Alec Richert, her granddaughter Kailey Richert, and her sister Sharon (Phyllis) Pentecost.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate the life of Rebecca "Jayne" Swan with visitation at Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown, located at 893 High Street, Charlestown, Indiana, 47111. The visitation will occur on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday, March 26, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Her funeral service will follow on March 26 at 2:00 PM at the same location. Interment will follow at Charlestown Cemetery.
