Mr. Montgomery passed away on Wednesday October 28, 2009 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born on November 11, 1934 in Charlestown, Indiana the son of William Henry and Viola Lewis Montgomery.
He is survived by his wife Betty Trent Montgomery of Charlestown, IN; daughters Hope R. Edwards of Hodgenville, KY, Eraina Gentry and Dalevina Lawson both of New Albany, IN; son Norwood S. Montgomery of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters Janie Rosengarden, Loretta Barnhart, Vivian Castanetta all of Charlestown, IN and Phyllis Vest of New Albany, IN; brothers Jerry Montgomery of Charlestown, IN and Lynard Montgomery of Louisville, KY; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
