Raymond Darryl “Curly” Crowe, 69, of Marysville, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Hosparus Inpatient Care in Louisville, KY.
He was born on February 16, 1944 to Raymond and Mabel (Tate) Crowe in Louisville, KY. He was a retired U.S. Coast Guard Veteran of 22 ½ years, a former employee for Ohio Valley Redi-Mix in Jeffersonville, IN, a member of the Old Reel Collector Association, National Lure and Fishing Association, American Legion Post 335 in Charlestown, Chief Petty Officer Association, and a member of the Church of God in Jeffersonville, IN. He is preceded in death by his father; sisters, Phyllis Sandy Reed, and Yvonne Eldridge.
Survivors include his wife, Carol (Armstrong) Crowe of Marysville, IN; daughters, DaVita Crowe of Marysville, IN, and Angie Higdon and her husband Christian of Sellersburg, IN; mother, Mabel Crowe of Clarksville, IN; sister, Norma Teague of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Devon-Rae, Lauren, Summer, and Courtney; great-grandchild, Layla Jean.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday from 2pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Tuesday.
