Mr. Young was born in Caneyville, KY to Wallace and Teena Duggins Young. He was a WWII veteran serving with the United States Marine Corps. He retired from the Sears and Roebuck CO. after 30 years as a salesman. He enjoyed his winters in Florida, playing euchre, golf, and shuffle board, he was also a Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Charlestown. Surivors include his wife Jacqueline Popovich Young, daughter Denise Young (Terri), son Scott Young (Mary), sister Mary Alice Foster (James), 1 niece and 4 nephews.
