Ray Stewart, 79 of Marysville, IN passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Ray was born on January 7, 1942 in Waverly, TN the son of James and Lillian Story Stewart. He retired as an Assistant Manager at an Oil Terminal operated by the Kerr-McGee Company in Doraville, GA. and was a United States Air Force Veteran. Ray enjoyed spending time with his loving family, loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing, camping, and boating. He was a Softball and Basketball Coach for many years, enjoyed playing cards, and watching car racing.

Ray is survived by his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Johnson Stewart; daughters, Teresa Shirley and her husband Scott of Acworth, GA, and Stacy Sanders and her husband John of Talking Rock, GA. Son, Mike Dodd and his wife Heather of Winchester, VA; sister, Rebecca Finkel of New Castle, KY; grandchildren, Rachael, Dylan, Elizabeth, and Bella. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Juanita Samples; brothers, Clyde and Jack Stewart.

Life celebration memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral in Charlestown. Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday until the time of services.
