Randall L. Myers, 81 of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. His friends and family called him Lew, but there are work buddies that knew him as Randy. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later time.
He was born in Hibernia and graduated from Charlestown High School. Lew was drafted into the Army where he served in Vietnam before coming home. He retired from Naval Ordnance Station Louisville (N.O.S.L.) where he last worked on the Phalanx CIWS. Then, he retired a second time from Louisville Manheim Auto Auction. Lew enjoyed tinkering on cars, lawnmowers, and just about anything with a motor. He spent countless days looking for special treasures at the D.A.V. Thrift Store and Goodwill. His love for animals and the outdoors was quite obvious, although it was his love of dogs that was most abundantly clear. Lew was a wonderful Dad and mentor to many. He most cherished his time as Papaw to his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and his twin brother. He is survived by his daughters, Julie Myers (Kyle), and Staci Myers, his three grandchildren: Austin, Fallon, and Presley, his sisters, Anita Falls, and Phyllis Nevitt (Tom), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lew will be remembered for his quick wit, his wicked sense of humor, his kindness, and his love that he had for his family. His laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone that knew him.
