Ralph L. Vest

Mr. Vest passed away Thursday February 21, 2008 at his home. He was a native of Columbus, IN, a retired security guard for Duke Energy, a member of the Solid Rock Community Church in Austin, IN, and member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #9. He enjoyed fishing, IU sports, the Colts, and NASCAR. He is preceded in death by his parents Reuben C. Vest & Roxie Pauline (Aldridge) Kemp, his wife Carolyn Sue Vest, and a sister Claireen Collins. He is survived by his son; Troy Vest of Scottsburg, IN; sisters; Mary Long of Lexington, IN, Judith Hooker of New Washington, IN, and Geraldine Maddox of Madison, IN; brothers; Custer Vest of New Washington, IN, and Dwight Vest of Charlestown, IN. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Sunday at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
