Born on February 15, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, Ralph led a life characterized by hard work, devotion to family and the Lord, and a passion for the outdoors.

Ralph proudly served in the United States Air Force, where he demonstrated commitment and discipline. After his military service, he embarked on a career as a tool and die maker at International Harvester, dedicating 16 years to this role. His expertise and work ethic later led him to the Indiana Department of Transportation, where he retired as a road inspector. Colleagues and friends alike recognized Ralph's tireless dedication to his work and community. Ralph served as a deacon at Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown, where he was an active member.

Throughout his life, Ralph was known as a hard-working man who took great care of his loving wife, Carolyn Crane Roeder, with whom he shared a remarkable 65 years of marriage. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with laughter, love, and strong family values. His legacy continues through their three sons: Bruce, Brent, and Brian Roeder. Ralph also cherished his role as a grandfather to Alan, Mitchell, Robert, and Kristie Roeder, taking immense pride in their accomplishments and adventures.

Ralph's love for the great outdoors was evident in his status as a die-hard Coon Hunter. He traveled extensively across the country to compete in hunting tournaments, where his skills and accomplishments made him a respected competitor among his peers. Spending time in the woods brought him joy, allowing him to appreciate the beauty of nature and share his passion with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mildred Roeder, as well as his brothers, Buck Roeder and Chuck Roeder, and his sister, Delores Roeder. Their memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved Ralph.
