Ralph Edward Chandler, 66, of Jeffersonville and formerly of Charlestown, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at Sellersburg Health and Rehab.
He was born on November 17, 1946 to Everett and Mary Lee (Smith) Chandler in Jeffersonville, IN. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a semi-truck salesman, and a former employee for Total Truck Parts in Clarksville. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his son, Josh Chandler(Sue) of Hardinsburg, IN; daughter, Shannon Goodwin(Brad) of Marysville, IN; sisters, Elaine Blair of Otisco, Laurel Thompson of Charlestown, IN, and Carol Tipton of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Dustin Goodwin, Megan Goodwin, Jonathan Chandler, and Morgan Chandler.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 1pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the New Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday from 1pm to 8pm and after 9am on Saturday.
