Mrs. Mehaffie passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH.
She was born on August 7, 1953 to Lowry Gale and Marjorie Hearn Bowyer in Madison, IN. She was a Pastor and teacher and a member of the Middlebourne United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Sarah.
Survivors include her husband Rev. Dennis Mehaffie of Middlebourne, WV; sister
Karen Sue Lauter of Wilmore, KY; niece Lori Wright of Crestwood, KY; great nephews Ben & Nathan Wright; step-mother Vera Bowyer of Jeffersonville; aunt Mary Helen Bowyer of Jeffersonville, IN.
