Phil Randolph Coley, 73, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011 at his home.
He was born on November 14, 1937 to George David and Pearl Gaines Coley in Charlestown, IN. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a machinist, a member of the American Legion Post 35, VFW Post in Jeffersonville, Masonic Lodge Clark #40, and a member of the Eagles of Jeffersonville. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter; Sherri Oliver; and a son; Michael Coley.
He is survived by his wife; Carolyn Sue Ward Coley; daughters; Pamela S. Parker (Frank), and Linda K. Graham (Lynn Collins); sons; Kevin Coley (Janetta), Kenneth Coley (Cherri), and John Oliver (Pam); grandchildren; Heather, Brittnie, Amanda, Robbie, Bradley, Tiffany, Kaylee, Angel, Johnna, and Misty; 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 12:00pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial at the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Thursday. Military services will be provided by the American Legion Post 335 and VFW Post 1427.
