Paul Louis Tinnell, Sr., 80, passed away Saturday July 30, 2011 at his home.
Paul was born on May 14, 1931 in Louisville, KY to Charles E. and Gladys Stettler Tinnell. He was an army veteran of the Korean War, a retired machinist from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Co. He also worked at Lakeside Reflections in Jeffersonville and was a Catholic.
Paul Traveled the world with the military and enjoyed life. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by his loving family.
Paul was preceded in death by a son George Richard French and a brother James Tinnell.
Paul is survived by his wife Ollie Tinnell, son; Paul L. Tinnell, Jr., of Jeffersonville, daughters; Shannon Tinnell of Louisville and Brenda Nickles of Charlestown, brothers Randy, Bob and Carl Tinnell all of Louisville and a sister Sandy Cotton of Georgia; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
