Paul “Bud” Colwell, 65 of New Washington, IN passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
Mr. Colwell was born March 3, 1948 in London, KY the son of Allen and Susie Collins Colwell. He was a self-employed Auto Mechanic and a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. He loved nature, horses, hunting and his faithful dog Zoe.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Standafer Colwell; daughters, Sophia Sue Harper(Kevin), Charlestown, Patty Wright and Ruth E. Williams both of New Washington; son William “Billy” Colwell(Lisa), Charlestown; sisters, Zola R. Collins(David) New Washington, Alvalene Keith, Pound, Virginia and Shelby Jean Hoskins(Arthur) Charlestown; sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his best friend, Gary Spencer, New Albany, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Taylor and Cicero Colwell.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home, New Washington. Visitation will be held on Friday beginning at 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
