Paul W. Bowman, 75 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Bowman was born on November 19, 1940 in Bell Co., KY the son of Paul L. and Cleta Webb Bowman. He was an Industrial Worker at I.C.I in Charlestown and retired from Flint Inc. in New Albany, IN. He was a member of Evangel Church in Charlestown and enjoyed coin collecting and working on his old cars.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Lewis Bowman; daughters, Paula Perry(Bill) and Josie Bowman both of Charlestown; sons, Tim Bowman(Debra) of Pekin, IN and Jerry Bowman of Louisville, KY; sisters, Mary Sue Lanham of Mt. Washington, KY, Brenda Marks and Sharon Pinkston both of Springfield, KY, Rhonda Holderman of Perryville, KY and Betty Grigsby of Springfield, KY; brother, Phillip Bowman of Springfield, KY; grandchildren, Kim, Kristin, Matt, Paul Brandon, Stephen and Noah; nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Dale Bowman.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the New Song Church in Scottsburg, IN. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Paul may take the form of donations to the Evangel Church in Charlestown or New Song Church in Scottsburg, IN. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is in charge of the arrangements.
