Patsy Ruth Mickel

Mrs. Mickel passed away Thursday December 17, 2009 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
She was born February 16, 1931 in Charlestown, IN the daughter of Alvin Newton and Katherine Montgomery Satterly who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Mickel, Sr., son, Michael K. Ralph, grandson, James Richard Mickel Jr., brother, Alvin Satterly Jr., sisters, Martha Kelley, Polly Satterly and Susie Yates.
Survivors include a daughters, Rebecca L. Bishop, Charlestown and Loretta F. Bond, Wiggins, MS; son, James R. Mickel Sr., Charlestown; step-daughters, Mary P. Wilson, Massillon, OH and Vesta L. Mickel, Covington, KY; step-son, Charles W. Mickel Jr., Mishawaka, Canada; brother, Harold Satterly, Clarksville, IN; sister, Helen V. Bare, Charlestown; half sisters, Wanda Worrall, Irene Tillery and Annabelle Browning all of Clarksville, IN, and Alpha Spencer, New Albany, IN several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a waitress at several places including the Charlestown V.F.W were she was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and attended the Faith World Outreach Church in Charlestown.
