Patricia Ann (Powell) Stivers

Patricia Ann Stivers 76 of Marysville, IN passed away on Wednesday November 8, 2023, at Charlestown Place in New Albany, IN.

She was born on May 1, 1947, in Jeffersonville, IN to George and Gladys Montogomery Powell.  Patricia was a retired banker, having worked for P.N.C. and Chase Bank, a member of Otisco Community Church and former member of the Rebecca Lodge and Past Noble Guard.  She enjoyed reading, ceramics, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph Morris Stivers, Jr., brother George Powell, Jr., sister, Debra Miller and beloved cousin Charlotte Perry.

Survivors include her sons, Joseph Trent Stivers (Faith) of Marysville and Tracy Morris Stivers (Teri) of Lexington, IN; adopted son, Gary Holmes (Amy) of Lexington; brother, Jerry Powell (Jeannie) of Louisville, KY; sister, Janet Haworth of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Megan (Justin), Autumn (Aqeel), Savannah, Trey (Kayla), Angelica, Kaitlyn and Khloe; great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Peyton, Azarah, Waylon; and a special friend of 71 years Mildred Potts Montgomery.

Life Celebration Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday and after 9:00 am on Tuesday.
