Pamela Katherine Obertate, 58, of Charlestown, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
She was born on February 13, 1956 to Joseph Randall and Anna Margaret(Ryan) Jones Dragoon in Louisville, KY. She was a Registered Nurse for Drs. Jones and Voskuhl, and St. Catherine Regional Hospital for 25 years. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Randall Jones, Sr., and her brother, Joseph “Randy” Jones, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Obertate; son, Brandon Knight (Stephanie) of Charlestown, IN; daughter, Adrienne Rosenbarger (Allen) of Lexington, IN; grandchildren, David, Preston, and Tanner Rosenbarger, Liam, and Colton Knight; mother, Anna Margaret Jones-Dragoon; sisters, Corine Kendrick (Tom) of Charlestown, IN, and Melissa Pierce (Scott) of Charlestown, IN; nieces and nephews, Ryan and Erica Kendrick, David and Maranda Pierce.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10am at the St. Michaels Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the St. Michaels Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, from 1pm to 8pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, and after 9am on Saturday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
