Ovie Livingston Whisman

Mr. Whisman was born February 11, 1934 in Charlestown to Ovie L. and Mary I. Denton Whisman and died Sunday August 26, 2007 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was a retired Instrument Mechanic for I.C.I. and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Blazing Star Masonic Lodge # 226. Mr. Whisman is survived by his wife the former Janet Cortner, his sons; Mike (Paula) Whisman and Rick (Kathie) Whisman both of Charlestown and five grandchildren Michael, Kaylyn, Jordan, J.T. and Matthew Whisman.
There will be a Masonic service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
