Oscar Ramge, Jr., 76, passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at his home.
He was born on May 6, 1934 to Oscar and Leona Hespe Ramge, Sr. in Wapakoneta, OH. He is an Army Veteran, a retired aquatic engineer, a member of the American Legion Post 335, Blazing Bright OES 597, and the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge 226 in which he was the past Master of the lodge in 1996. He was the 1st of 3 generations of past Masters in his family. He is also a member of the First Baptist Church in Charlestown. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Valery Glaser Ramge of Charlestown, IN; sons, Steven L. Ramge (Edith) of Madison, AL, and Stanley W. Ramge (Debbie) of Mason, OH; daughter, Dawn M. Page of Fairfield, OH; grandchildren, Timothy, Steven, Jr., Bryan, Eric, and Christian Ramge, and Heather and Billy Page; great grandchildren, Madison, Shelby, and Logan Ramge.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 10am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta, OH. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm and after 9am on Thursday. Masonic services will be held on Wednesday at 7pm at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held at the cemetery at 3pm on Thursday.
