Opal Mae McClure 90, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday April 18, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
Opal was born on March 12, 1925 in Worthville, KY to Lee and Stella Hickason Stewart. She was a loving homemaker and a member of the North Charlestown Church of God and the VFW Post 1427 Womens Auxillary.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; Edgar Hale and Keith McClure and sons; Eddie and Jerry Hale.
Opal is survived by her daughter Patricia Goforth (Bob) of Charlestown, brother; Arthur Stewart of New Albany, IN, grandchildren; Katrina Compton and Jhnellia Clements and great granddaughter Anastasia Hampton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am to 8 pm on Tuesday and after 9 am on Wednesday.
