Mr. Richey passed away Thursday at St. Catherine Regional Hospital. He was a native of Bennettsville, IN, an Army Veteran,a insurance agent for State Farm, a member of the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge #226, OES Blazing Bright #597, Scottish Rite Valley of Indy, American Legion Post 335, and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Christine Meyer Richey, son; Kenneth R. Richey (Dottie) of Charlestown; Brother; Melvin Richey of North Vernon; Sister; Jean Adams of Sebastain, FL; grandchildren; Angie Bryson (Chris), Bryan Glotzbach (Malia), Angela Richey, Jonathan Richey; great grandchildren; Emma Kay Bryson and IceLynn Richey.
