Ollis Gene Blessett

Ollis Gene Blessett 74, of Corydon, IN passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.

He was born on April 9, 1947, in Jeffersonville, IN to Carlie and Ruby Logsdon Blessett.  Ollis was a former tree trimmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Alice Pearl Blessett; daughters, Angel Blessett, Elizabeth Blessett and Ruth Blessett, grandchildren, Cassandra Blessett and Christopher Blessett.

Ollis is survived by his fiancé, Carrie Elizabeth Miller of Corydon, children, Melissa Trice (Rick) of Fairmount, IN, Terrie Cox (Wesley) of Scottsburg, IN, Nathaniel Blessett (Michelle) of Rough River, KY and Holly Wellman (Josh) of New Salisbury, IN; brothers, David and Lee Blessett both of Otisco, IN; sisters, Anna Sizemore of Corydon and Betty Smith of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Cody Cox, Katelyn Hill (Brandon), Kelsey Lewis (Craig), Taylor Blessett, Cliff Trice, Adam Trice, Preston Wellman, Abigail Wellman and Jase Wellman; great grandchildren, Aiden Jones, Abby Hall, Tucker Hall, Caden Lewis, Alice Collins and Emery Collins.

Life Celebration Services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday and after 9:00 am on Tuesday.
