Norma Lee Gammons, 84, of New Albany, passed away Thursday April 26, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
She was born on September 6, 1927 in Carbon Glow, KY the Daughter of James and Ella Donals Higgins. She was a homemaker and enjoyed canning, quilting, gardening and traveling.
Survivors include her sons, Gerald Gammons(Martha), Louisville, Gregory Gammons, New Albany, Stephen Gammons(Kathleen), Louisville, Leslie Gammons(Penny), Tulsa, OK and Timothy Gammons(Kathleen), Naples, FL; daughter, Gwendolyn Sample(Steve) Ocala, FL; sisters, Juanita Plowman, Lexington, KY and Helen Jean Bly(Glen), FL; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown. Visitation will be held on Monday after 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Interment will be in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
