Neil Eugene Darnall

Neil Eugene Darnall, 67 of Memphis, IN passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019.  He was born on February 12, 1952 to Denny Franklin and Annette (Bennett) Darnall.  Neil was a welder for Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville, IN.

He was a volunteer Charlestown Fireman, member of the Rescue scuba diving team, loved hunting and fishing, as well as, working on cars.  He’s passion was music; he played the drums, loved to sing and when he couldn’t talk there always had to be music playing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Denny Darnall; sister, Faye Ward and brother, Greg Dennis Darnall.

Neil is survived by his loving wife, Marietta Jill (Shuck) Darnall; daughter, January Darnall of Jeffersonville; son, Jeremiah Darnall of Otisco; his mother, Annette (Robert G. M.D) Overstreet of Jeffersonville; sister, Anita (Ron) Ashton of Columbus, IN; grandchildren, Morgan Darnall, Denyail Ashton and Axel Darnall.

Funeral services for Neil E. Darnall will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN.  Visitation will be on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at the funeral home, and again on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in Charlestown Cemetery.
