Nancy “Janie” Jones, 60, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at her home.
She was born on March 24, 1954 to Norman and Jackie (Oliver) Jones in Shelbyville, KY. She worked for Gentiva Hospice in Jeffersonville, and she was preceded in death by her father, Norman Jones.
Survivors include her daughter, Kristi Martin (Tom) of Jeffersonville, IN; son, Kenneth W. Kern II of Jeffersonville, IN; mother, Jackie Jones of Charlestown, IN; sisters, Charmayne Carver (Mark) of Henryville, IN, and Pam Zollman of Charlestown, IN; brother, Mike Jones of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Shane Kern, Jacob Martin, Jordan Kern, Justin Martin, Daisy Kern, Kyle Kern, and Marisa Kern.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6. 2014 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm at the funeral home, and after 9am on Thursday.
