Mrs. Gilbert was born on November 19, 1927 in Wynn, Arkansas the daughter of Joseph M. and Donna (Moore) Looney and passed away on Saturday Nov. 7, 2009 at Sellersburg Health & Rehab.
Mrs. Gilbert was a former waitress and member of the Full Gospel Church in Charlestown.
She is survived by her Sons; Robert A. Emerson of Modesto, CA., Richard J. Emerson of Memphis, IN., Paul Ison of Jeffersonville, IN., and Dexter Ison of Sellersburg, IN. daughters; Sondra Robison and Vicki Lutts both of Charlestown. 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
