Miriam "Sug" Matthews

Mrs. Matthews passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
She was the Principal for Southwestern Elementary School in Hanover, IN. and was the former Principal for Riverside Elementary School in Jeffersonville, IN. She attended the North Madison Christian Church, member of the New Washington Eastern Star, Charter member of Kappa Delta Pi at the University of Indianapolis, National Association of School Principals, Indiana Association of School Principals, Who"s Who among outstanding Americans, Indiana Professional Standards Board a Governor Appointment for setting guidelines for Pricipals and Superindents for the Sate of Indiana. Survivors include her husband Jim Matthews; sons, Jamie and Scott Matthews; brothers Ron and Charles Joe Windsor; grandchildren, Kamryn, Miles, Tatum, Samantha and Mallory. Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of donations to New Washington Athletic Dept., Madison High School Cubs Basketball or Southwestern Elementary School.
