Minnie Lorene (Wallace) Lewis

Minnie Lorene Lewis, 89, of New Washington, IN, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 at her home.

Minnie was born on February 7, 1931 in Clark County, IN to Wayne and Julia Allen Wallace. She was a retired employee of Fischer Packing in Louisville, KY, a member of the UFCW Local 227 and a member of the New Hope Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Lewis.

Minnie is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Mark) Ashbrook of New Washington;  son, Ed (Betty) Williams of New Albany, IN;  sister-in-law, Juanita Wallace of New Albany;  grandchildren, Shawn (Deidra) Williams of Louisville, Jason (Ava) Williams of Arkansas, Melissa (Aaron) Stump of Greenwood, IN, Phillip Keck of Jeffersonville, IN, Sarah (Ricky) Ashabranner of Marysville, IN and Jessica (Brent) Brewer of Sellersburg, IN; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 2 PM on Tuesday.
