Minnie Alice Reynolds Compton, 73, passed from this life into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday September 29, 2010 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Those who loved her will never be the same without her love to guide them. She was a member of the North Charlestown Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ray Compton, her six children; Alice Smith, Lander Compton, Lanny Compton, LaRita Stapleton, Lance Compton and Jennifer Switalski, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and after 9am on Sunday.
