Mildred Grills Slaughter, 87, passed away Thursday October 6, 2011 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg.
Se was born on March 6, 1924 in Dyersburg, TN the daughter of Walter J. and Stella May Grills.
Mrs. Slaughter worked at ICI Americas and was a D.A.R. member.
Survivors include her children, Brad Slaughter(Bobbi), Moss Point, MS, Pam Craig(Tom), Sellersburg, IN and Mike Slaughter(Christine), Memphis, IN; sister, Patricia Caudill, Hanover, IN; eleven grandchildren, Kelley Salvetti(Mike), Chip Slaughter(Ritta), Kerri Dehn(Bill), Traci River(Charles), Candace King(Jim), Amanda Stumler(Greg), Jeff Craig(Hope), Justin Slaughter, Erica Ehringer(Jeff), Ryan Drollinger(Jeannie) and Erin Mattingly(Aaron) and twenty great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 10, 2011 at Grayson Funeral Home, New Washington with burial in Barnes Cemetery. Visitation will held from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday and after 9:00 A.M. Monday until time of service.
