Mildred Pauline (Shaw) Lovins

Mildred Pauline Shaw Lovins, 88, of Henryville died Sunday July 3 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg.  She was born on March 9, 1923 in Willowshade, KY to William Jacob Filmore and Olevia Maxey Shaw.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Beaumont Methodist Church in Beaumont, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Freddie Roscran Lovins; brothers Edward Osborne Shaw, Ralph Shaw, and Dewey Ray Shaw; sisters Nellie Grace Shaw Franklin Foster, Leone Shaw Bailey, and Ora Alyene Shaw Hall.  Survivors include her sons; Freddie Ray Lovins (Dottie) of Sellersburg, Billy Morton Lovins (Karen) and Michael Lee Lovins both of Henryville, a daughter Rachel Louise Lovins Reed (Ralph) of Henryville, brothers; Ira Wilbourn Shaw of Charlestown, Lewis Ferrell Shaw (Kathleen) of Clearfield, UT, and Melvin Howard Shaw (Phyllis) of Marysville; a sister Helen Lucille Shaw Stamper of Palmer, AK,  grandchildren Kerri Michelle Lovins Baxter (Dale), Aaron Scott Reed, Michael Wayne Reed (Vicki), Brian Lee Lovins (April), Shelly Rae Lovins Jones (Jamie), Travis Lane Lovins (Becky), Michael Fredrick Lovins (Stephanie), and Willie Clayton Lovins; and 9 great grandchildren.  Funeral Services will be on Thursday July 7 at 10am at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8PM and again on Thursday beginning at 9am.
