Mildred Lee Jones

Mrs Jones died Monday, July 21, 2008 at Weston's Mini Home in New Washington.

She was born May 29, 1924 in Madison, IN the daughter of Ben and Josephine Smith Welch who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bussey Jones on July 7, 1995 and by seven brothers and sisters. Mrs. Jones was a former employee at the old Boyer Locker Plant in New Washington for over twenty-five years. She was a member of the Nabb Presbyterian Church, "Topps" and wrote articles for the Evening News in Jeffersonville on Nabb News, worked with Clark County 4-H, and was a Pole Worker and former Precinct Committeewoman for Clark County and enjoyed baking cakes.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Cummings and her husband Tom, Kansas City, Missouri; five sons, Ronald Jones and his wife Yvonne, Charlestown, Robert Jones, Hanover, IN, Richard Jones and his companion Kay O'Neal, Vevay, Roger Jones and his wife Sylvia, Marysville and Randy Jones and his wife Amy, Mechanicsville, Maryland; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
