She was born on August 2, 1982 in Louisville, KY to Christopher and Jacqueline McDaris Oppelt. She was a healthcare provider and a member of the Northside Christian Church in New Albany, IN.
Survivors include her husband; Michael Ruby, son; Aidan Baker of Clarksville, IN, father; Christopher Oppelt (Brenda) of Lexington, KY, mother; Jacqueline Turner of Clarksville, sister; Elizabeth C. Ryan (Sean) of Eagle River, Alaska, step-daughter; Emma L. Ruby of Sellersburg, IN, nephew; Connor Ryan, nieces; Mackenzie Ryan and Morrigan Ryan.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday March 27, 2015 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Underwood, IN. Visitation will be held after 10 am Friday.
