Michael Murphy, 74, of Charlestown passed away on April 9, 2018 at his residence. He retired after 35 years as a pharmacist at Rite-Aid in Charlestown. He served in the Army for 6 years.
He is survived by his 1st wife Susan, 2 children Laura and Jamie, 2 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, his current wife Johanna, 2 step daughters Johanna and Erica, 5 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 13, at 11:00 AM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Charlestown with burial to follow in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, IN. Visitation will be on Friday at the church beginning at 11:00 am. Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Father Flanigans Boys Town.
