Michael Ray Ison

Michael Ray Ison, 53 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.
Michael was born on December 30, 1963 in Jeffersonville, IN the son of Bobby Ray and Martha Lee Ison. He worked for the City of Charlestown in the Water Department and was the Auto Body Man at Park Street Auto Body in Charlestown. Michael was a former member of the Bass Anglers Club, an avid Hunter and Fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Wooldridge Ison of Charlestown; son, Michael Tanner Ison of Charlestown; step-son, Todd Guernsey of Sellersburg, IN; step-daughter, Tyra Zollman of Charlestown; Father, Bobby Ison of Charlestown; brothers, Robert A. Ison(Denise) and Greg Ison(Kristal) all of Charlestown; five step-grandchildren and five nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Ison.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday and after 9:00 A.M. Friday until the time of services.
