Michael Lee Bradshaw, a cherished member of the community, passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 72 in New Albany, Indiana. Born on November 28, 1952, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Michael was known for his unwavering work ethic and his remarkable ability as a jack of all trades. He dedicated over twenty years of his career to Champion Wood, where his commitment and hard work were evident until his well-deserved retirement.

Michael’s zest for life was reflected in his passions. He found joy in bluegrass music, motorcycles, and fishing, creating lasting memories and friendships along the way, particularly among his fellow bikers. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his fondness for Florida, where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

As a father figure, and patriarch of the family, he was the glue that held them all together.  Michael embraced the role deeply. Not only did he raise his own children, but he was affectionately known as "Dad" or "Pops" to many neighborhood kids who found comfort and guidance in his presence. Stubborn yet deeply loving, Michael treasured his family above all else, demonstrating unwavering support and affection to his children and grandchildren.

Michael served in the United States Army after being drafted during the Vietnam War, a chapter that underscored his commitment to his country from 1969 to 1972. His valor and dedication to service resonated with all who knew him.

He is survived by his sons: JC Bradshaw (Jennie), Jason Elmore (Sonja), Nelson Bradshaw, Josh Bradshaw, and Dustin Troxel; daughters: Sandy Stellwag (Phil) and Jessica Bradshaw (Noah Mullins); a beloved family of twenty grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brothers, Kevin Bradshaw (Bernice) and Jack Bradshaw, who he enjoyed a strong relationship with. Michael also shared a strong bond with his ex-wife, Cathy Bradshaw, which endured throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Hattie Bradshaw, Billie Urban, the mother of Jessie and Josh, and his sister, Beverly McAnally.

Michael's life came to a peaceful close, with his final moments marked by an enduring smile, a poignant reminder of his warm spirit and the love he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Services to be announced at a later date.
