Melvin “Bill” Rhodes, 83 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday June 20, 2016 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.
He was born on November 25, 1932 to George and Josephine Rhodes, Sr. in Charlestown, IN. Mr. Rhodes was a retired asphalt worker for the old Denton Paving Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Josephine Thornton and Margaret Martin; brothers, George Rhodes, Jr., Everett Lee Rhodes, William Rhodes.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Jemerson of Houston, TX, Susie Rose of Charlestown and Hazel Harris of Omaha, NB; brother, Tommy Rhodes of Jeffersonville, IN and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday June 25, 2016 at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 am on Saturday.
