Melvin Branson Isaac, 79, of Clarksville, IN passed away at his home Westminister Village on Monday, September 30, 2013.
He was born on June 3, 1934 to Walter and Maggie (Patrick) Isaac in Magoffin Co., KY. He retired from Colgate where he worked in quality control, owner of Isaac Small Engine, and Mel’s Tavern in New Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Inez (Reed) Isaac of Clarksville, IN; daughters, Sharon Isaac of Austin, TX, and Maggie Helton of New Albany, IN; sons, Walter Isaacs of Charlestown, IN, Willie Isaac of New Washington, IN, and Hank Isaac of Otisco, IN; brother, Patrick Isaac of Salyersville, KY; sister, Garnett Reed of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Michael Helton, Daniel Helton, Austin Isaac, and Ginny Isaac; great-grandchildren, Jake & Zack Helton.
