Melvin Leo Doss

Melvin Leo Doss, 87, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 at the VA Medical Center in Louisville, KY.

He was born on August 30, 1932 in Charlestown, IN to Walter and Lucy Cole Doss.  Melvin was an Airforce veteran of the Korean War, a member of the North Charlestown Church of God and the American Legion Post #335 in Charlestown and was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Doss.

Melvin is survived by his sons, Mike Doss of Henryville and Steven Doss of Charlestown  and daughters, Michelle Doss of Charlestown and Donna Coomer of Charlestown; grandchildren, Amy Spann and her husband Travis of Jeffersonville, IN and Michael Doss, II and his wife Krista of Charlestown; great grandchildren, Trenton Doss and Lennox Spann.

Funeral Services will be at 12 pm on Saturday May 9, 2020 at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 pm Saturday.
