Mr. Cochran passed away on Wed. Oct. 14, 2009 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Feb. 18, 1965 in Los Angeles, CA the son of Edward and Berna Sear Cochran. Melvin was a cabinet maker.
He is survived by his wife Rochelle James Cochran of New Salisbury, IN; daughter Karen Cochran of New Albany, IN; Step-son Brian Gordon of Jeffersonville, IN; Step-daughter Regina Swaney of Louisville, KY; brothers Kevin Cochran of Sellersburg, IN and Keith Cochran of Charlestown, IN; three grandchildren.
