Melissa Ann (Stines) Karsner

Melissa Ann Stines Karsner 55 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

She was born on January 20, 1969, in Connecticut to Fred and Joyce Sanders Stines.  Melissa was an administrative assistant in the construction industry.   She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sitting on the porch with her dogs, and riding horses.

Melissa was preceded in death by her mother and granddaughter Charlie Leezer.

Survivors include her husband Robert Karsner, children, Kristin Elliott of Charlestown, and Sydney Elliott of Charlestown, father, Fred Stines of Otisco, IN, sister Kelly Newland of Utica, IN, grandchildren, Brayden Smith, Mathew Miller, Falyn Harrison, Gavin Leezer, Nevera Willis, and Ilaria Willis.

Cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled.
