Mattie June (Martin) Jenkins

Mattie June Jenkins, 85, of Jeffersonville, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home.

She was born on June 10, 1928 to Frank and Roba (Perkins) Martin in Bethlehem, Indiana. She was a member of the Bethlehem Community Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wells L. “Lum” Jenkins, and her daughter, Brenda Sue Woods.

Survivors include her sons, Billy Jenkins of Jeffersonville, IN, and Richard Jenkins of Charlestown, IN; Grandchildren, Heather Powell, Gretchen Thompson, Josh Woods, Meghan Fight, and Morgan Jenkins; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 10am on Wednesday.
