Massi Turner, 61 of Clarksville, IN passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Veterans Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Massi was born on July 12, 1955 in New Albany, IN the son of Donald Glenn and Irene Shoemaker Turner. He was retired from Naval Ordinance in Louisville, KY. He was a United States Army and National Guard Veteran served with the unit in Scottsburg, IN for 26 years. Massi was also a member of the Jeffersonville American Legion.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Irene and Donnal Long of Sellersburg, IN; sister, Pamela Wiggam and her husband Duane of New Washington, IN; step-brothers, Tim Long and Mark Long both of Louisville, KY, Matt Long of Corydon, IN; step-sisters, Susie Long and Teresa Nall both of New Albany, IN; niece, LaDawn Woods and her husband Cecil of New Washington, IN; great-nephews, Castil and Gabriel. Massi was preceded in death by his father Donald Glenn Turner.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN with burial in Turner Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Monday until the time of service. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in memory of Massi to the Clark County Humane Society.
