Mary Branham (Estill) Whitt

Mary Branham Estill Whitt, 82 of Marysville, IN passed away on Thursday February 2, 2023, at Clark Memorial in Jeffersonville, IN.

She was born on November 29, 1940, in Mt. Sterling, KY to Everette and Martha Morris Estill.  She was a member of the New Market Christian Church and was a retired registered nurse having worked several years at Clark Memorial Hospital and in Home Health Care. Mary loved to read romance novels, playing Bunco, card games, she also enjoyed going to plays and woodworking. Mary was the true meaning of an adrenalin junkie, always ready for an adventure and loved to sky dive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Kathy Hammill.

Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Truman Whitt; her children, Gladys Lariviere (Larry) of Pekin, IN, Thomas Lewis (Brenda) of Kentucky, Lee Ann Veteto (Steve) of Toledo, Ohio, Alan Scott Whitt (Marsha) of Madison, IN and Billy Whitt (Jennifer) of Otisco, IN; 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

A Life Celebration Gathering will be held at the New Market School House on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  The family asks that all friends and family stop by and share stories and all your fond memories.
