Mrs. Pool died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, Indiana.
She was born March 12, 1919 in Roanoke, VA the daughter of Everett and Margaret Jane Chatham Elmore who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Creighton "Bo" Edward Pool who passed away on January 19, 1984; infant son, Creighton Edward Pool Jr.; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Mrs. Pool was a homemaker and a member of the former First Christian Church of Charlestown.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Short and her husband Ron, Nabb, IN; sons, Edwin Pool and his wife Linda, Charlestown, IN; Ronald A. Pool, Charlestown, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Jane Heveren, Roanoke, VA and Gladys Schaffer, Los Angeles, CA.
