Mary Francis Perkinson

She was born on June 12, 1920 in Woodford County, Ky, the daughter of Lewrie and Lula Meadows Vest who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Wayne Perkinson; two children, George Harold Perkinson and Greta Marie Waters; three sisters, Thelma, Ethel and Erby; two brothers, Robert and Leonard. Mrs. Perkinson was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church, New Washington, and loved cooking, walking, gardening and flowers. Survivors include a daughter, Loria June Perkinson; son, Carroll Bradley Perkinson (Jan); four sisters, Mattie Shields, Martha Graebe, Virginia Graebe (Wilson) and Violet Jones (Kenneth); one brother Joseph Vest (Lillie); three granchildren, Tony Perkinson (Courtney), Melissa Waters and Bonnie Welch (Greg); five great-grandchildren, Tony Perkinson Jr., Noah, Nathan, Ian and Hannah Welch. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mary Francis Perkinson may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
