Mary Ann Hunckler Pemberton, 88, of Charlestown, went to heaven on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at her home.
She was born on July 23, 1925 in Jeffersonville, IN to Charles and Anna Mary (Rieber) Hunckler. She was a retired preschool teacher for Wee Ones in Charlestown, and a member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church. She graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1943. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clay Pemberton.
Survivors include her daughters, Debra Fehlinger (Rick) of Charlestown, IN, Donna Lewis (David) of Fisherville, KY, Joanne Knopp (Kenneth) of St. Louis, MO, and Gina Ohlmann of Jeffersonville, IN; sister, Joan Nole of Jeffersonville, IN; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 6:30pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will begin after 4pm on Thursday until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Wee Ones preschool in Charlestown, Indiana.
